Ado glad you found her so quickly

Stars that is understandable, that it gets more difficult as her confusion worsens

Tweety that was nice of you

Went bird watching yesterday, then had lunch with dad

Later in the day took the train into the city for the third date. After a pretty long walk we met and had dinner at the famous Billy Goat Tavern and talked, then walked to the park for the concert.  Was nice, although we had to leave early as it ran longer than expected and I would have missed my train.  He seemed fine with that, I think he may have found the concert a bit dull as I noticed he was on his phone a lot during the performance.  Got home fairly late.

Today have church, then will go out for coffee with the over 50 group.  Planning to do some cooking as well as some baking.  Will also look at my schedule for next month as we are planning a 4th date.

Going to be rainy this morning, think it will be a little cooler today in the low 80s

Good morning!

Joe, good sign that a 4th date is in the works.  Have a good evening.

I think I found someone to come over today on a Sunday to put together my desk and book cases.  Waiting to hear from him for confirmation.  I used the app "Task Rabbit" that vets the workers and people can leave reviews.  Task Rabbit takes $12 an hour for the work and then the worker charges you as well.

I have so much work to do around the house but things like dental work, traveling home to see my parents digs into my funds but this is will be one of them knocked off the long list.   Would be nice to have some things done before retirement.

Otherwise not much going on today.  Will organize after the furniture is put together and head to the grocery store.

Got up right at 12 noon; SiL then arrived and started in on Nannie's shower and shampoo. I am next in line for a hair-trim. I will resume this post in a little while....

Okay, I am trimmed. Will shower and shampoo in a while, after SiL and BiL leave. Then trim my bangs (I don't let anybody else do my bangs).

SiL and BiL bought Nannie a new box-Spring and mattress....so SiL is in that room cleaning, mopping, dusting, etc, before they bring in the new bed-set. SiL works so quickly....I remember when I used to buzz around cleaning (when I was "into it".) when I was younger and not plagued by the potential of aggravating the gypsies.

I have been trying to figure out how I might rearrange my bedroom, and decided I have too much furniture in there; soooo, I am going to take out the wicker shelf (tall and wide) and put it in another room. It's a beautiful piece of furniture, but kind of too much, if ya know what I mean.  After watching so much HGTV, I have come to see how, once in a while, less is more! I want an 'airier' feel to the room.

Got a bunch of boxes off the top shelf in my bathroom linen closet, because they all contain more Christmas decorations, which we do not need or want. Some are decent enough to donate, and some are in pathetic shape. AND, there are TWO more CLOSETS full of Xmas decorations! Then we can have one closet back for a coat closetI mean, this house was decorated to the teeth inside and outside for a month before and a month after Xmas. Like someone once said, the problem with putting up a LOT of decorations is....when you have to take them all down and put them away! We do MINIMAL decorations now, and Nannie doesn't even seem to care....prolly cause of her failing memory. She used to decorate so much because my father-in-law and his 7 siblings grew up in an orphanage and didn't have any pretty or 'fun' Christmas decorations put out on the holidays.

But NOW I can clean out and reorganize the upstairs linen closet so it doesn't look like the heap of towels and linens just shoved in there, and I can get rid of the out-of-date stuff OTC meds and things that hubby used that are no longer useful. I finally got all of his colognes gone. He had quit wearing them several years ago, and those bottles were covered in at least 3 layers of dust! BLECH!

Okie-dokie, the 'troops' just left and I had to 'splain to Nannie, once again WHO they are and how she is related to them. SiL will come over on Wednesday and take Nannie off for the afternoon, and then Thursday is Chatty CG's day to sit with Nannie.

So, anyway, it is now 3 PM and I wish Nannie would get to napping for a little  while.....hopefully she will, once she stops trying to figure out what she can't figure out. 🤯😌

All for now. Be well, stay safe, and all that good stuff!

Tweety that sounds like it will be a big help

Stars sounds like you have a productive day planned

Yesterday was fairly busy for me.  Had church in the morning, then headed for a coffee get together with the over 50 group.  Only 3 of us, though it was a nice time, like that particular organizer a lot.  Then came home and made some orange yogurt muffins and some shakshuka.  The muffins were more work than my usual recipe so I hope they turn out better

Today have a doctor's appointment after work, hopefully did not gain too much weight.  Nothing else unusual going on, thankfully no coworkers on vacation, at least not for the foreseeable future

Going to be a rainy and stormy day today in the lower 80s
