Summer off before 4th sem.

OH man I HATE HATE HATE that I have the summer off before I can go back and finish my LAST semester. Who would have ever thought I would NOT want a summer. On the upside I AM going to be working full time as a student nurse intern on my flooor (L&D) so I'll be getting great experience and I'm monumentally excited about that but still I feel like the fall is years away. Of course I can see my kids again for more than an hour and I should probably clean this stinkin house. I'm sure there will be a camping trip or two and probably lots of pool side time but still I can't help but feel like it's going to drag...

Anyone else? What are you all doing this summer to stay busy!?

I know what you mean about just wanting to move on and out of 4th semester rather than waiting around for the summer. I'll be working in the NICU as an extern so I'm super psyched about that. I'll also have time to do some great things with friends I haven't seen too much since my nursing school career began.

I'm actually taking nursing management online this summer to lighten the load for 4th semester. Along with that I will be following my kids around to baseball practices and games 3 times a week, boy scout camp twice, swimming lessons, bible camp etc.. It's all about my kids this summer.

I am planning alot of kids activities with my fellow nursing students as well. Zoo trips, beach trips etc. I have made such great friends during school, it's been such a blessing!
