I have worked 3 summers as a camp nurse (last Summer was cancelled ?) It's a sleepaway camp in Pennsylvania (we live in Illinois)

My kids attend the camp I work at for the first session which is 3.5 weeks and they absolutely love it!

Not sure what this year will look like with the COVID restrictions and whatnot but my kids are very excited to be getting back there and seeing their camp friends.

Working 3 weeks of Summer camp at my school and 3 weeks off to help out a family member.

I just signed a contract to volunteer as a beach bum for the duration of the Summer. It'll be quite stressful ?

Quick trip to Tahoe to see husbands family - hoping to sneak away from then to do some hiking on my own, few days in Georgia to visit a good friend and some jeeping/backpacking/camping in Colorado.

I plan to increase my hours at the nursing home I PRN at.   I currently do one weekend a month, but I'll probably do 1-2 shifts a week throughout the Summer.    We are having Summer school here for the first time to catch up kids that fell behind due to the whole covid situation.   They are still deciding if they want me at that or not....if so its only one week each month - so 3 weeks total.

Per diem at LTC

Wedding stuff for my son and fiance at the end of August, so shower and all the other fun stuff!

Home remodeling!  We just closed on our first house this week.  Also, fertility treatments beginning in June.  It's going to be a busy Summer for me!

I'm working my school district's day camp, which is housed in my building, so I get to stay in my office.  I'm sure Covid protocols will still be in place, but it's for a 3 hour day, and it's only 5 weeks long.  The pay is way better than what I make during the school year, and I still get half of the Summer to be totally lazy:)

Super exciting!! Sending all the positive vibes your way!

We are hoping to travel a little but I have two littles and a bun in the oven so I'm just looking forward to backyard adventures in the pool and in the garden.

I will do the NASN virtual conference though because work just offered to pay for it (woowoo!)

I'm going to do a whole lot of studying for my NBCSN exam in Early July and then a whole lot of NOTHING. Thinking about a road trip to visit fully vaccinated friends in MD, but not sure if its in the cards. 8-9 weeks of well earned freedom, especially after I worked, unpaid, to contribute to our reopening planning so much of last Summer!
