Hi AlabamaBsn I am at the University location. Super excited!!

Hi! I will be working in the Renal/General Med Unit at University Mid-town! We will be able to meet each other during our first Saturday class! Very excited! Congrats to all!

Also, if anyone has any advice about where to live I would appreciate it! I am thinking Buckhead since it is a shorter commute to St. Josephs than from Midtown (and less expensive). Are there any areas within buckhead that are preferred over others? What is the walkability like, what is the commute into midtown from buckhead, etc. Any advice would be great! Thanks!!!

Buckhead is a very expensive place to live. Midtown apartments are expensive as well. Living in the city is costly. Not sure what renting a house would be like. Have you looked at the areas in the city? Be selective where you live. I can't stress that enough. Check out the apartment complex if you can before deciding. Commuting in the city during certain times is CRAZY, however, we will be working nights, so that is an advantage for us. Many people, like me, live outside of the city and commute in due to a lower cost of living outside the ATL area. Very excited for you!

I am from Georgia, however, I have been attending school in North Dakota. I was afraid that most of the positions would be filled internally (by those completing practicum at Emory hospitals) however, they do look outside the units as well. There were several people that I met from all over the US.

Congrats to all that got interviews/job offers. How many of you are students in Georgia? I'm currently a student in New England and would love to move down to Atlanta after school, but I'm curious if all the nurse residencies fill with local students before out of state are considered?

Hey y'all! I emailed Ms. Tisha. She said if we haven't received our official offer letter yet, don't worry. We should get it via email by the end of next week. Im so excited! Can't wait to start working at EUH.

Did you ever get your offer letter? Still waiting for mine.

Still waiting too !

I have not received an "official" offer letter, yet. However, I did receive an email from Tisha a few days after the interview asking me to fill out certain paperwork, send out my references, and sign the contract.

Yes, I have gotten that email as well.

I just got the one about references and another form but no contract
