I am preparing to take an exam to earn my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse certification. (Not PMHN-NP) I would love to hear feedback as to what the test was like, how y’all studied, surprises on the test, how in depth it went in psycho-pharm, best study resources, etc. Thanks.

I took my exam in on June 10th 2019 and passed. Honestly, I did not study a bunch for it. I have ADHD so I cant just sit down and read a study guide. I like to take practice tests and write down rationales. That seems to work best for me.
The test was not difficult (IMHO) there were many questions that applied directly to my clinical experience.
I would recommend getting the book attached. It pretty much the test.
Best of luck!!!!
Thank you for the reply! That’s the book I’ve been using so I guess I’m on the right track. Take care.

I took it recently and it wasn't too bad. There were a few pretty detailed questions that weren't covered in the book, but oh well, I still passed. I used the mometrix book posted above as well as the ANCC study guide for the exam. I mainly just skimmed those and did a bunch of practice exams to study.
