I was asked yesterday to put together a teaching day for 11/11/08. (Short notice). I have a couple of content topics already done but I was hoping I could get some input for a few short activities/topics that would make the day more fun/interesting. If you have any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate hearing about trainings you enjoyed or thought were helpful and not in a boring/listen only way. Thanks in advance for any help.

The hospital I do my clinicals at just had a wound care day yesterday with an emphasis on pressure ulcers. It was really interesting an informative!

I'd go with timely topics - here are some of them that we're doing: changes in reimbursement that are impacting hospitals; patient safety - hot issues; generational differences & how them impact communication/teamwork;
Generational differences can be really fun - especially if your group is diverse.
yhr generational thing sounds like it will fit us nicely- thanks

who is your audience? Where will it take place? How long will they be there? Is it a lab or class? Need more info to help you out.
