Suffolk County Community College (SCCC) RN - Spring 2026

Published

Hey guys, I'm curious to know what are everybody's stats for the upcoming SCCC nursing program. My TEAS score is a 91.3%, 3.6 GPA, and a 83 on the rubric (without micro).

Call them — I had the same situation before. Unfortunately, I didn't get into the program then. This year I got accepted; the paperwork was due on 10/24.

Unfortunately admission is still saying that all the decisions were not sent out yet, it doesn't mean I wasn't accepted.

I got my acceptance email last month in October for the LPN-RN bridge starting May 2026. They told me in the office that only 24 people were accepted into the bridge program. I'm assuming all the decisions were made as the paperwork was due October 24th.

Hi everyone! Has anyone not received a decision email yet and has any updates? I applied for the LPN to RN Spring semester 2026 program, not 100% sure of my scores. I've been checking my emails non-stop very anxious to find out.

I'm not understanding why I'm still being told that all the decisions were not made yet and last week only the denial decision emails were sent out. They said if I haven't received an email yet it was good news because I'm most likely accepted into the program.

They have a list of people who got in — we all signed it when we picked up the paperwork. Maybe you're on the waitlist; they did the same thing with me before. My classmates from Microbiology already got accepted, but I haven't received any email with a decision yet. I wish you all the best and hope you get in!

Thank you for your help! I'm still getting the same response at this time, "Final decisions have not been made you will hear by the end of the month.” So I'll just keep my fingers crossed, hopefully they'll be a seat for me!

No idea why it happened, but Admissions appear to have really delayed their responses this year. I was told that for the RN program, the acceptance letters were delayed by about 3 weeks, and it seems the same for the bridge program as well.

I'm under the assumption that they are behind because they pushed back the deadline and apparently in the last seminar I attended, SCCC had approximately 700 total applications. But I still have faith, apparently the second round of acceptance letters are going out this week for those who still haven't received an email. 🤞
