It has been over 4wks since I received verbal confirmation that my interview went well and got the job. It is a band 6 post originally advertised for part time. They said they will change it to full time for me but need to sort out some paperwork before I receive anything. I called them a couple of weeks ago and they said they'd been on annual leave so will take longer and couldn't give me an idea of a date.
Is this out of the ordinary?I don't want to call again and seem impatient but I'm nervous they've changed their mind about me.
Any advice on this would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

In my area it can take up to 3 months for paperwork to be completed.
Thanks for responding.
I have not received a written conditional offer yet. Can just this part take up to three months?I understand the whole process can take a while with regards to all the health and background checks but I'm just worried that I have not received anything in writing.
It will depend on your organisation I guess.
I do try to get the pair paperwork completed quickly but I suppose if they are trying top secure more hours this could have to go through an approving panel which can take time.
Keep in touch with the manager to enquire about progress but not to the point of being a pest :)
