Hi everyone,
After failing my second nursing course, I'm about to be kicked out of my BSN program 7 months before graduation. I do have documentation proving hardship and a pretty solid success plan, but I'm still skeptical as to whether I'll be reinstated.
Anyways, what I'd like to hear from you guys are three things:
1. If you successfully appealed academic dismissal, I'd love to hear the details of your case, especially what type of hardship you claimed.
2. If you were not successful in your appeal, what reasons did they cite for the rejection?
3. If you have any advice as to what my next steps should be to continue pursuing nursing, I'd love to hear. I'm one of those people who is set on this and another career just isn't an option for me.
Thanks!

Hello there!
You just need to be honest in laying out your case. As for me, my oldest sister died after my first semester and I had to take in two teenage nephews with several problems. It made it very difficult to concentrate in my studies when I had to provide for them... but I made it through.
You will succeed if you persist. It may or may not be in the same place, but you shall reach your goal!
