I do well in all of the main nursing courses, I enjoy them. When it comes down to Microbiology, that is when I notice that I have trouble studying or even finding a slight interest in the course. Anatomy & Physiology I find interesting.
Are there any studying tips for that you would suggest? What did you do to pass these classes?

I truthfully enjoyed microbiology and A&P alike but if you're having trouble with micro try Microbiology Made Incredibly Easy. It's a good book to use in combination with lecture. It has funny pics, and easy to understand explanations.
Youtube videos on whatever chapter you're on also helps.
Good luck :)

For Anatomy, the best way to really study is to print out pictures from the internet and label the parts. Use multiple photos at different angles for the same part of the body so you absolutely know it. If you have a cadaver lab like I did, make sure you really spend time studying the bodies (even if it stinks!) and refresh your memory for the previous week's lab. There a plenty of youtube videos with people explaining the parts of the body on cadavers too.
For Physiology, if you're a visual person like I am, youtube videos really help. They come in handy especially for the renal, pulmonary and GI physiology. Another handy trick I learned was using the speech function on my mac to listen to my notes (in conjunction with reading). If you don't have a mac, I'm sure there are similar online programs.
Good luck!
