Studying in the Philippines thinking of going back to CA

Hi!

I am a 2nd year student. I checked a community college in CA which is Los Angeles Valley College. I already took most of the pre requisite with a cut score of 80. I saw their requirement was 80 or a C.

I called them and asked if they will credit the pre requisite i took here but they are not able tl discuss it over the phone.

I'm just wondering if anyone here had the same situation or has some ideas about it.

    Most schools will not give you an answer over the phone without you formally applying and the admissions department reviewing your official transcripts, records and course descriptions. This would not be different if you called and asked if your pre-req classes from a NY school would transfer to a CA school. There is no way anyone other than the school could tell you if your classes taken outside the US would be accepted at a US nursing school.

    Most schools will not accept nursing classes in transfer (whether completed in US or overseas ) due to differences in curriculum between schools.

    As far as pre-req classes the only answer we could give is maybe

    Thanks! I'm planning on going back to CA in mid November and see what happens. I hope everything turns out good. apparently community college will charge me a non-resident which is very expensive. I'm really hoping everything will be okay.
