these are websites from various american universities on how to study. they contain a lot of information and suggestions on how to study. you sometimes have to try different techniques. you will find that one technique will work better than another. if one doesn't seem to work, then try another one.

as for learning to understand medical terms, you should get yourself a good medical dictionary. i don't know what kind of books you can purchase in the philippines, but taber's cyclopedic medical dictionary is one of the better medical dictionary's we can get here in the u.s. it is specifically designed for nurses. it you search the internet you should be able to find some online medical dictionaries as well that you can use for free. however, i have to tell you that when i was in nursing school i had my copy of taber's with me and looked up medical terms as i was reading my nursing textbook. a good dictionary is always going to be a good resource.
