YAY!!!! :balloons::lol2::):chuckle I FOUND MY GROUP OF PEOPLE--FINALLY!!! I was hoping there were some people at CSN on this site!!! I'm starting in the fall, also--day division. What about you?

I'm happy, nervous, anxious, worried, scared, overwhelmed, curious, impatient...I'm basically a lot of things right now!!!

I talked to [the instructor in charge of our health records] the other day and she gave me some info on that meningitis vaccine we need. Have you done that yet?

Congrats to all Fall 2007 students:balloons:

I know how many mixed emotions you must have right now, I'm feeling the same and I still have 5 months to go!!!

I am accepted for Jan 08, so I will be paying close attention to all of the post from ya'll; hoping to get any info, I can..

Good Luck To You All!!!!!!

hey, I will be in the evening program for fall 07. As the weeks have gotten closer to our start date my finger nails have gotten shorter. As I get closer and the more nervous I get the happier I am about finally finishing school. The next 2 years are going to blow by fast. Are you going to the social that the student council will be having the week before orientation starts. My husband thinks a good idea for me to go and pick the brains of those that have "been there done that" and see if I can gleen any tid bits of what to expect etc from them. I also think I have completed everything possible from the packet they gave to us. The only thing is the dates of the orientation in my packet were mixed up and I was so nervous at the advising meeting that I forgot to correct the dates. Thank goodness for the office staff I called them and they gave me the corrected dates and times. Anyway good luck and maybe we will figure out who we each are at orientation on the 15th.

I will also be attending this fall. Anyone know what the student to student event is on the 8th? This may be the social the previous poster was speaking of. I would also like to know about what things will help us such as PDAs etc.

I've been talking to a lot of ppl about those PDAs & many have said that they're extremely helpful for clinicals. There's a program you can download onto the PDA w/ a med. dictionary, dosage calculations book, etc. that can be used as a quick reference guide during our clinicals...I'm definitely looking into buying one.

About the Student-to-Student thing, I'm going! Not sure what it is exactly, but I'm too excited not to go!:lol2:

I am going to the student-to-student thing as well, I can't wait to get started! Have any of you bought a stethoscope yet? I am trying to figure out which one to get.

I did. I asked which would be best during my advising conference, and my advisor said Littmann is the best. I've been hearing that a lot from the forums on here, also.

I got the Classic II S.E. I wouldn't be able to tell you if it's better than others b/c I have nothing to compare to--as I've never used a stethoscope before. I'd suggest you get a Littmann, just b/c it's so popular among nurses.;)

Hi guys. I highly recommend the Student to Student. It's your first chance to meet the others who you'll be seeing for the next two years. The student organizations and groups will have representatives there to speak to you, and each class's Student Government officers will be selling things like sweatshirts, tees, car decals, calendars, steths, and other handy little things.

Congratulations to everyone starting CSN this fall 2007, its almost time and i'm so excited and nervous:uhoh21:

Karencita1228 i allready got my meningitis shot, it was pretty painful money wise:madface:;)

i'm glad to know someone, before the school;

best of luck to everyone
