Students that already go to Chamberlain... Question about Scrubs

I am trying to get ready to start this fall... but I can't find the answer to this anywhere on the website and I can email my advisor but I really don't want to bug her.
Do you have to wear the scrubs to class? to lab? How many pairs do you have once you start clinical? Do you buy yours online (at the store they recommend) or is there some other place you have found them (the pants at least, I know the tops have to have the school embroidered). Just wondered if anyone had any tips!

No, you do not have to wear the scrubs to class, except on clinical days (even if they are on the campus or hospital). I've been there for a year, and I still only have one set of scrubs. I just wash them as soon as I get home. You have to purchase the top through their site, but personally, just purchase the bottoms at a scrub store. The bottoms that they offer on the site are extremely cheaply made and scratchy. I like the Grey's Anatomy brand. They are super soft (a bit on the costly side, but worth it) and don't stay stiff throughout clinicals. I also like the elastic only in the back with the optional drawstring in the front (but never had to tighten it). They are long enough so that they don't look like capri's when I sit down.

Mystique... THanks. Where do you buy your scrubs? I was wondering about the pants b/c I have a weird shaped body and it makes me nervous to order pants online. Do they have the right color anywhere?

Yes, just go to a scrub store in person. Like Scrubs and More (or Scrubs N More, can't recall which it is). We all have wierd shaped bodies, that's why it's awesome that there are so many different styles of scrubs. Yes, you can find the color anywhere. It's Royal Blue that you need to get. I've heard that some people can find their scrub pants at Walmart or Target, but I've never looked. I just go straight to the scrub store so I can try on different styles. I'm pretty picky with mine and I absolutely do not like the scrub pants with only the drawstring. They just don't stay up on my hips right!
