Just got accepted into CRNA school. Will start in the fall. Anything i can be doing now to better prepare? any mini course? Or should i just enjoy my last days of freedom? Any advice much appreciated.

I say first things first. Celebrate!!

Save up what money you can, and try to relax and spend time with family while you can. I took the summer off before starting school; I'd do it again in a heartbeat. As far as "preparing" now that you're in, besides perhaps beefing up your savings account a bit, there's not much you can do in my opinion. I'd say hold off on trying to do any studying - your school is going to teach you everything you need to know, and you're going to spend the next 2.5 years studying, so enjoy your free time while you have it.

Congrats! But I completely agree. Definitely don't study or look at anything anesthesia. They don't expect you to know anything so what's the point in wasting your last days of freedom?! And yes, save up as much as you can. Maybe pick up a bunch of overtime now and then give yourself a month or so off before starting classes. Seems like that's what most of my classmates did as well and it was just a nice mental break before you enter a continuous exhaustion state for 2-3 years.

which program are you starting?

I just got the Anesthesia Student Survival Guide and have started reading it to learn a bit more about anesthesia and familiarize myself with equipment (it contains some pictures/graphics). So far I like it!

Yep that's where I got it! Also search "anesthesia clipboard" on Amazon. It's a fold-up clipboard with anesthesia quick references on it. I bought it as I'm sure it'll come of use to me :)
