Any other applicants out there? Does anyone know how many applications are submitted each year for the DNAP program? Good luck everyone!!

Glad thats over, they gave us in writing that they should have decisions by June 1st. If you have not heard anything by then please call. They gave us estimates of taking 10 at abingdon, 5 at Roanoke, I forget how many at Nova and RVA. I think it was 46 in all. They had over 200 applications and interviewed less than half. There were around 4 interview dates and ours was about 30 people. Biggest surprise I think was that just being in Va for 9 months isn't enough to qualify you for instate tuition, apparently you have to be coming to Va already for a reason other than school. Good luck to everyone!

I don't know how it works, but if you move to a state for the sole reason of attending school there, it would stand to reason that you would pay out of state tuition. Otherwise, what would be the point of out of state tuition?

I went to school in VA and the only way my buddy from PA was able to get in state tuition was to leave school for a year, work a full time job in VA, and then re-enroll. Things might be different for grad school and older students, but if you are living, working, and paying taxes in one state, then why would Virginia ever feel the need to grant a discount to you when you decide to go to one of their schools?

I did not get an interview at VCU and am looking out of state and fully expecting to have to pay out of state tuition if I get in somewhere else as I will still own a home and be filing taxes (married) in VA. If there is a legit way to get the in state rate, I'd be all about it, but I'm not really counting on it.

Jamiemoney88, how did the interview go?

Well, I got the call today saying I got in! So apparently better than I thought it went! I am in at the Richmond site!

Congrats jamiemoney88!! I also got my call! I will be at the Nova campus!

Congrats to you both! so exciting!!!!

Congratulations everyone!! I'll also be at the Nova campus. Has anyone heard from the graduate school yet? I'm about to go on vacation (woe is me, I know) and I don't want to miss it.

Wow, anyone else heard back yet? Now I'm super nervous cause I haven't heard anything

I'm getting nervous now too!

Exciting! Congrats everyone so far.

Hang tight, everyone...acceptance calls are still going out.

Do you know if they're still going through applications, as I just updated mine today with a final grade. Or they're just making a certain amount of calls per day.

I got a call! Accepted into Richmond!! Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear!
