Excela CRNA 2017

Nursing Students SRNA

Hello all! Just wondering if anyone is applying to Excela's CRNA program for class starting in 2017. Hope to hear from y'all.

Got a call last week but sadly couldn't interview until one of the last dates. What's everyone's background? what type of ICUs do you work in?

wow so if granted an interview that's already a 50% chance of getting into the school.

Did the admissions specify the type of questions that they'll be asking? and How is everyone prepping for the interview day? its an entire full day!

And is everyone from the region? anyone coming from out of state?

I have interview next week. Im so nervous right now. Wonder what will they ask in the interview and what question will be in the written test?

I've read in different threads that the test questions are CCRN type questions.

Hi there!

I am interviewing next week! I have a friend who graduated from Excela a few years ago and said its a great program and interviews are essentially looking for candidates who are a 'good fit' with their atmosphere! Good luck to everyone! Fingers crossed :)

I have my interview on the 6th. Excited yet nervous about what to expect. I have just been going over the CCRN stuff again and hoping that my experience will help me in the interview and the test.

Wish you the best! Mine isn't until much later in the month.

I would love to hear how it went. Send me a DM!

I have a little over one year of experience. Pediatric cardiac ICU RN in large level 1 trauma center. CCRN. 4.0 science GPA 3.84 nursing GPA.

How did it go???? I'm nervous! Interviewing at the end of Oct.

The interview is very laid back. Just stay calm and be yourself. I wish they were all like that. They want to get to know YOU. They have already decided that you are smart enough by having an interview. Now it's a matter of picking the right fit for the program.
