Columbia, Anyone?

  1. Hooray for my first post!
Boy, Columbia applicants are surely quiet!
Who applied this year? What have you heard so far?
    I'm running out of patience!:spin:

Or maybe SRNA's at Columbia? Or even recent grads? What sort of timeline can an applicant expect?
    Thanks so much!

hey wasup! yep applied at columbia too. they just emailed me and said that they sent my application to the anesthesia dept and will contact me if deemed necessary for an interview. so far thats all. have you applied to other schools? I applied at VCU and have an interview date next month... im extremely anxious since I have never been in a panel interview in my life. chances are slim but what the heck.

I've only applied to Columbia at this point; it's where I'd really prefer to attend. I have a friend who graduated a few years ago and she's had only good things to say about the program. Ditto a current SRNA there, whom I've befriended. And it's probably the most convenient for me.
And did I mention the tuition? I can't wait to pay that. I'm joking of course, the tuition doesn't excite me...but I'm prepared to do what I need to do to deal with that.
I had received an email requesting a description of my chemistry courses...and after submitting that, I was notified that my application would be forwarded to the anesthesia department. I know that they work pretty quickly -- as far as interviews, then I was just checking to see if they've moved on yet.
    I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
