Hi everyone! I applied to the University of Cincinnati FNP program (online)-Fall 2018. Is there anyone else who has applied for this Fall 2018? Do you know of anyone whose been accepted or rejected? I look forward to hearing back from you guys :)

Hi there! I applied to the AGNP program for Fall 2018. There was another post where a few people had applied to various U of Cin NP programs. I haven't heard of anyone being accepted yet. Good luck!

Hi. I have started my application as well. I just need to furnish my letters of reference and my essay in order to submit. my GPA is not that great but I hope they consider me in experience, my great career transition, my essay and my letters of recommendation. I graduated in a foreign institution outside U.S. so I had to get my transcripts evaluated by the World Educational Services. I also need to take the IELTS/TOEFL but I can do it later. I got kind of frustrated when my cumulative GPA did not pass the minimum requirements of the UC, so I kind of procrastinated my requirements even though I was processing it since January. I know it's not good to be frustrated about such a thing but I just could not help it. I am finishing it right now and hoping I'll complete everything before May 1.

Hi Rizahawkeye! I bet it is frustrating but don't lose hope! I've read a past post on here where someone was accepted who didn't meet the minimum GPA requirements. I met the GPA requirement but I'm more concerned if my essay was good enough. So I guess we all have something we're freaking out about. UC is my first choice! I wanted to apply to at least two more schools but it's so very expensive to do so! By the time I paid for transcripts from both colleges I attended to be sent to NursingCas and myself, $65 transcript entry service, $70 NursingCas app, and $65 UC app, it totaled to about $236.00. So I'm putting all of my eggs in one basket and hoping for the best! All we can do is pray on it! Stay in touch on here. And I'm keeping my fingers crossed í ¾í´ží ¼í¿¼

Glad to know that I am not alone on the GPA part. I have not seen that thread yet. I was looking for topics relating to that but I had no luck finding one, so thank you for letting me know about that. My two references already sent their letters of recommendation. I am only waiting for one more. I'd love to take my chances in different universities but like what you said, it is expensive. I spent over $300 alone in processing my foreign transcripts + the evaluation. Even it was expedited it still took a month before it finished, so I'm glad I did it as early as January. You'll never know what kind of delays you will get. I am still in high hopes that they will consider me and not put my applications in the trash because of my GPA. I spoke to somebody at UC Nursing Admissions before and they said that they look at the applications in a "holistic approach". I am crossing my fingers and I hope you get accepted as well.

Hi friends! I just wanted to announce that I just received an email from UC saying I've been accepted into the distant learning FNP program for this Fall 2018. I'm super excited!
