Hello, im currently enrolled in the third quarter of an RN program. I have my CNA license and have four months of experience in home care over summer brake. I have been applying at some of my local hospitals for CNA and Nurse technician positions but have not even gotten an interview. I am hoping to be employed at a hospital so that when I graduate this August I could apply internally and have my foot in the door. I'm wondering if it would be more valuable for me to volunteer at a hospital (which requires you to commit to at leas 100 hours) or to get a CNA job at a nursing home to gain more experience? As you all know free time during nursing school is limited so I want to make the most of it,
