Student Nurse Interning in NSICU

Hey y'all, I am a final semester nursing student interning in the NSICU and I just wanted to pick everyone's brains and see what are the top things you think I should know/be familiar with/be able to perform before I start my internship?

ICP parameters, and familiarize yourself with how to do a full, comprehensive neuro exam.

Look up bolts, EVD's, camino monitors. Research common drugs for neuro patients such as nimodipine, nicardipine, mannitol, etc.

Check what a craniotomy is what precautions are associated with such situations.

Research permissive hypertension.
