Student Nurse Association Fundraisers

Hello Everyone!

I am a first time user and also the President of our campus Student Nurse Association. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas for fundraisers for our group. Thanks for your help!

The Student Nurse Association where I went to school had an auction for Katrina victims not too long ago. They went to the local businesses (everyone from uniform shops to book stores & even the Jacksonville Jaguars) & asked for items/gift certificates to be donated. It was quite successful & we had a great time! :)

Our school's SNA had T-shirts made for the nursing students that had funny sayings on them (like one said "not tonight, I have clinical in the morning"). I think the T-shirt thing is a quite popular fundraiser because when I went to the SNA conference last year, all the different SNAs were selling shirts. Some of them were so funny and I ended up buying 3 or 4 shirts there alone.

If it is a residential campus, there is always money to be made by selling something good to eat in the dorms... particularly if you check the dining menus for days where decent food is especially lacking.
