Student in Northern Virginia, needs clinical site for summer and fall!

Hi All -- well, I'm using EVERY avenue I can think of here, in the search for a family practice/internal medicine clinical rotation site. I'm located in Falls Church, Va. but can travel anywhere in the Maryland/DC/N. Virginia area. Please let me know if you as an NP would be willing to precept a student.

Our needs this year are 55 hours over this summer, mainly doing assessments and learning our way around a clinical site.

The follow up is to start again and obtain adult experience starting in August through early December to obtain some 300 or so hours with collaboration, perferably at the same practice or clinic setting.

I know this is a long shot, but i'm using EVERY way I can to network and find NP's in my local area who would be willing. Thanks so much!

Did you find any luck? Im looking for a clinical site as well for my FNP rotation this Fall, I only need 45 hours. It is very difficult, I have been looking since march as well.

I am a FNP student located in richmond va. I am looking for a FNP/primary care clinical for the fall this year. I am not sure if you are still located in the Virginia but if so would you be willing to take a student for the fall. I am struggling to find preceptors and have used every resource i can think of. If you can help in any way that would be great!
