Hello!
I am a student in an accelerated BSN program in NYC and I am very interested in working in L/D upon graduation. Is is recommended to work in a med/surg floor first or a more general unit before L/d? Would a hospital hire a new grad for L/D? I am also very interested in going back after becoming an RN to become a CNM. Also, can anyone recommend any good reading material in this field? Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Thanks!
