I am a pre-nursing student at the University of South Carolina Upstate, and I just finished up my first semester of college! I made all A's and B's, except in anatomy. I got an F in anatomy. I had a 3.7 GPA coming into college (I took a lot of college courses in high school), and I am so worried about if I am going to be able to keep my state scholarship which requires me to have a 3.0. I think I am just going to barely make the cut. Does anyone know if they look at your grades from the whole year to determine whether or not you get to keep it?
I am planning on retaking A&P1 at community college next semester. I've heard it is way easier over there. I would love any tips and tricks on how to pass the class. I really want to try and make an A in the class if I am able! I will get grade forgiveness, so both the F and whatever I make in the class the second time will show up on my transcript, but just the better grade will be counted! I hope to get my GPA back to the way it was next semester!
Thanks so much!!

They will look at your GPA and not your grades in order to keep your scholarship. I am currently on a Presidential Scholarship at my institution and they review our GPA every other semester. You may have to look into what your institution's policies are for scholarship. If yours is anything like mine, then you will not have to worry about being in trouble with keeping your scholarship.
