  1. Thank you so much for the advice!! I took A&P as a freshman, so I think that's part of the reason I struggled so hard. The class was like no other I have taken and I thought I knew how to study, when in reality I really didn't. I am hoping that if things work out and I am able to take anatomy again, I am able to pass! That would be great! :)
  2. I withdrew and received a W on my transcript. I am currently not enrolled in anatomy (I am taking BIO 101), because I need to find out if taking anatomy a third time is even an option for me! Thank you for your comment!
  3. I just kind of was asking in general if there are schools out there that give pre-nursing students more than 2 tries at anatomy :) a lot of the schools in my area have the 2 attempt policy.
  4. I am currently a pre-nursing student, who is in a bit of a pickle. I have now taken anatomy twice and been unable to pass. I failed the class the first time and had to withdraw the second time. Many nursing schools only allow 2 attempts at anatomy for nursing students. Are there any schools that allow students more than 2 attempts? I am a sophomore this year and have a ton of the pre-req courses for nursing school out of the way. I would really like to remain on the nursing path if possible. Thanks to everyone who comments!
  5. I am a pre-nursing student at the University of South Carolina Upstate, and I just finished up my first semester of college! I made all A's and B's, except in anatomy. I got an F in anatomy. I had a 3.7 GPA coming into college (I took a lot of college courses in high school), and I am so worried about if I am going to be able to keep my state scholarship which requires me to have a 3.0. I think I am just going to barely make the cut. Does anyone know if they look at your grades from the whole year to determine whether or not you get to keep it? I am planning on retaking A&P1 at community college next semester. I've heard it is way easier over there. I would love any tips and tricks on how to pass the class. I really want to try and make an A in the class if I am able! I will get grade forgiveness, so both the F and whatever I make in the class the second time will show up on my transcript, but just the better grade will be counted! I hope to get my GPA back to the way it was next semester! Thanks so much!!
