Hello everyone,

I currently work two per diem jobs, and I have been for over a year since becoming a registered nurse. I applied to so many hospitals and always came up short, one reason was because I did not have my BSN.

I applied to a major hospital cooperation in my area 1000xs of times. Now the company is facing backlash and the nurses are on strike. So I am not sure if it is a good idea to work for them.

This past month I recently graduated from Chamberlain University woo hoo !! With my BSN but I am anxious to find the right job. I do not want to go from job to job but my current employers haven been short changing me with cancelations since covid due to a low census. I never realized how hard it would be to land a good job. Not to mention a lot of jobs in my area want to hire novice nurses as per diem employees. I am even more upset that my current employers haven’t offered me full-time hours. The rehab hospital that I work for hires all new grads a per diem nurses.

Can anyone point me in the right directions for employment opportunities that take BSN prepared nurses? I do have children and really need the benefits.

I have received offers for homecare but the positions are not benefited and I am afraid I’ll lose all my skills.
