I have been placed on a stroke/neuro unit for my adult health clinical. What should I be expecting? Thank you!

Well, you'll be taking care of them. Ask your instructor. Read about those patients from your theory and lab. Review their pathophysiology, mental health, expected and unexpected findings, medications, and nursing interventions.  These would be my things to do, so I won't be surprised. As a CNA, I took care of them within scope of my practice.

You don't have to know everything. It's a good start. Don't think I know everything. I'm too sharing with you. I grew up that fast. LOL

Thanks for the reply! I appreciate it! What do you think I should bring with me to the first day of clinical?
