My goal is to become a Pediatric Nurse but im not quite sure how to do it. Do I obtain all my degrees in the field of general nursing or is there a seperate way to go about all this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

You'll likely have to follow the same path to a nursing license as everyone else. I can't think of anywhere that offers only pediatric training, but I can think of thousands that include pediatrics as part of a general nursing program. Not only is it possible to go directly from a general nursing program into a peds setting, but it's how the vast majority of us end up here. Good luck.

I just graduated from a BSN program in May and got my RN in July. I got hired to a Peds unit straight out of school and have been working there since June. I've had no other healthcare-related experience other than what I had in clinical, and so far I haven't had any problems adjusting.

I also went into peds straight out of nursing school. I did a peds rotation in my last semester at the same hospital where I am now employed.
