Stop it!

Please stop the random CNA who comes onto the unit & professes her fairy tale love life with the doctor ***. Goes so far to come into work dressed up for a date, why would you do this randomly on your day off? Sends work emails on what heels to wear on this date. All the while, the physician in question is making rounds while she's texting the unit clerk on what an awesome dinner they're having..

Stop the madness I say!

Rant your stop it(s)!

Okay. . .what's wrong with her fantasy? Even though the romanctic relationship with the doctor is a figment of her vivid imagination, I suppose it feels good to fantasize that someone in this crazy world loves you as much as you love him. Just sayin'!

What did he get her for valentines day? ;)

How does her harmless little fantasy affect you? If I had to work in some workplaces, I'd live in a fantasy world too.

I would feel embarrassed for her.

If you know her well enough, explain to her how this looks.

If not, maybe an anonymous tip or have one of her friends clue her in.

How sad. I can understand ignoring her, but he needs to be aware. He could be married or seriously dating someone and his significant other could hear about this "affair". Or this could lead to a stalking situation.

Stop walking all over me. Yes, I'm a team player. But that doesn't mean I'm a push-over. Push a little too far, and one of these days, you'll also find out I have a pretty nasty temper, and I don't want to end up unemployed.

ETA: I know everyone is commenting on the contents of the OP, I just thought I'd continue with the INTENT for this thread. Lol.

Please stop telling us every single detail about your megawedding. We don't care how you "met cute." We don't really care whether they charge extra for lilac napkins over white, or how much sand goes in the little glass vases on the tables. We really, really don't care about the drama with the bridesmaids and whether the ringbearer will be potty trained by then.

Please stop trying to change orders and treatments to your liking; I KNOW you USED to be a supervisor; fortunately I am one, and no, you can not change the order...just STOP it! :banghead:

Stop with the drama because you work the nights required on your line. No need to faint three days after the last night and then blame OT on the nights.

Please stop confusing me with one of the other three nurses that have long hair and glasses. Yes, I know we're white, tall nurses and we have unit color-specific scrubs, but if you would take the time to learn our names, just like we take the time to learn yours, you'd quit confusing us with one another and your orders would be carried out more promptly.

So just stop and take 5 minutes to learn something other than how to best exert your God complex.

Am I the only one who is completely confused by this thread??!

Even the OP confused me: is the CNA really dating the doc? And are we supposed to give comments on that? Or are we supposed to give our own examples of times that we want to say Stop It!?

And the current Comments are all over the map!! I'm so confused:bored:
