Can anyone tell me if the math assessment for SBU is similar to the TEAS math- a little bit of everything and do they allow calculators or not?
Thank you in advance!

Hey there! I'm currently in the Stony Brook BBP program. I've never taken the TEAS since it wasn't required but I can tell you about the assessment. No calculators allowed! No word problems, just basic algebra. Long division, fractions, decimals, etc. Basic math. It's really not a difficult exam if you've been practicing for the TEAS (I just googled it and looked a few questions). The hardest part of the exam is probably time management since all the math has to be done by hand.
Thank you!!
I was wondering how many problems there are and how long you have to complete it?
Thanks!
Also, are there any difficult conversion problems or graphing linear equations? I would def need to go over those ! Thank you!!
