Anyone hear back yet for interviews or know when we will

They started calling for interviews already. However, I am still waiting. I am hoping that they give me a call. I applied for both their Basic and accelerated program.

I have not heard anything back as yet since submission. I guess they are a very competitive school and is very selective of candidates.

Is anyone clear on their process? For example how many interviews do they grant? When they conduct them? and for how long?

They are definitely very competitive. I called like 3 or 4 weeks ago, like mid October. The person I spoke with told me that they had started emailing for interviews, and I think are interviewing all the way until December. They have probably gotten like 600+ applications, because not only is Stony Brook a great school, but it is also affordable. Did you apply to their basic program as well? I applied for both, just in case. I am on the same boat as you, I am very nervous, I am just hoping that I even get an email for an interview.

When I called in October the lady said they are still putting applications together, and that they should begin interviewing around Nov, and decisions may be going out in Jan. The wait is killing me. Has any one heard anything about interview?

They began interviews first week of November. I think at this point no news is bad news lol

I want to apply for the accelerated nursing program. According to SBU site, the criteria requirement is a BA or BS but I have a BBA from Hofstra and MBA from Stony Brook. Do I have a shot? I'm taking Chem and signed up for Anatomy & Physiology 1 in preparation for tge application next year.
