Stony Brook ABSN 2023

Creating this thread for all applying to the Summer 2023 ABSN applicants!

Last year interview invites were sent Nov. 19th; the interviews were Dec. 6th and 7th; and admission decisions were emailed Jan. 25th.

I only applied to Stony Brook, so I really hope to get in.

My overall GPA is 3.92, and prereq. GPA is 4.0.

Thank you so much! I got replied back and they say it was just a system error. My application is complete! phew...

 I got accepted into Mercy but it is my last resort. I would love to go to Stony Brook

Does anyone know when invitations for interviews start?

B.S degree in bio with a minor in Italian 3.40 cum GPA first two years of college didn’t do so hot, prerequisites 3.56 graduated last year

3 years volunteer emt,  worked as a covid temp screener during covid LOL,  Medical scribe/ assistant at an urgent care for one year , currently work in the ER and babysit on the side for the last 5 years

Do you know if interviews are in person or on zoom?

Last year they were on Zoom. 

This year - I don't know.

Hey, just applied to Mercy as well! Applied to the ABSN and 2 year for SBU, Farmingdale’s program, and SCCC. 
 

4.0 in pre-reqs, 3.5 combined between degrees.

I think they will send us an interview invitation first, based on what I’ve read in past years forums
