I interviewed in early February for TWU. I am hoping to be a long distance student doing clinincals in Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati. The interview was fair. My other stats are good. I was accepted elsewhere, but prefer TWU. Those of you having heard one way or another...how did you find out (telephone call, letter, email)? How soon afterwards did you hear? I suspect March is the month of notification from what I am gathering on the forum unless one was early accepted. Any thoughts?
PS...Thanks for those of you who have PM'd me.

I interviewed with TWU in Little Rock on Wednesday. I was told everyone will know by April 15th, but do not know how they will be notified. I will be interviewing with the Jonesboro, AR, site early April, too.
good luck!

TWU will give you an expedited decision if you have been accepted somewhere else. I was told this by TWU's program director.

Yes, if you get in somewhere else they will let you know if you are in or not if you call and tell them you are in! Good Luck
Thanks for the comments, but have another thought...
If I call TWU with my situation (being accepted elsewhere) are they more inclined to cut me knowing I have somewhere else to go? I do not want to get eliminated because I have been accepted elsewhere. I really want to go to TWU. On one hand I think it could be helpful, but on the other it may cut my chances. Thoughts?

I have no idea. I've been wondering myself if it makes any difference to your applying school whether you've applied at multiple schools or not. I applied at only one school, and really have the desire to go there exclusively... I have been worried that that might hurt me. Did they ask you in your interview if you applied anywhere else?
I never really thought about it that way. They did ask me where I applied. I don't really think that it would hurt your chances. Just call them and say that you really want to go to their school, but if you aren't in the running that you would like to have the opportunity to go elsewhere. I think that if they really want you they won't let you get away! Good Luck
Can I ask why TWU over the others and where else did you apply?

Actually, in my interview at TWU D. Baggott (interviewer) said that if you were offered an acceptance to another school that they would expedite their decision for you. In other words, tell them you got in at another place and they will give you an answer. They don't want potentially great students going to other schools.
