Stiffing a school

So, I am kind of bummed out. I have a coworker that was accepted to an out of state CRNA program. They accepted the offer, but now have decided not to go. I am under the impression they paid their earnest money and have their mind set on not attending. I just wish they aren't ruining someone dream...

He has the right to change his mind. And look at it this way: someone who thought she wasn't going now has an unexpected seat.

The problem is, I think they are holding the seat knowing that they are not going to attend. If they wait until the start of the program to tell the university, the seat could potentially be "opened" too late. sucks.

Perhaps the school overbooks. Like airlines.

But if you're determined to stew about it, go ahead.
