Stellate Ganglion Block

Hi! I haven't been on this site forever, but I thought I'd give ya'll an interesting topic. I'm an LPN at a VA where I live.

My husband is a combat vet (PTSD/TBI thank you Iraq.) On January 17th he received a stellate ganglion block for his PTSD symptoms, and so far, though its only been 11 days....it appears to be working.

Dr. Eugene Lipov in Hoffman estates in IL did it. I just thought that was pretty awesome that this procedure has shown some promise in PTSD world. I was getting fed up with the pills....

How is he doing now that it has been a little while? My husband is having his injection on 5/21 with Dr. lipov to hopefully alleviate some of his PTSD symptoms. As you put it, thanks Iraq.

Is this technique still suceessful? My BF has PTSD and he is currently in a PTSD in house program to help him.. I'd like to run this idea by him if it is a successful intervention..
