Hi, I'm an lpn...my husband is a combat vet with PTSD and mtbi he sustained from multiple ied's rpgs, mortars etc.... Anyway, I figured anyone reading this read would be interested in the science behind it, or have some insight into effective ways to treat combat ptsd. My husband used to take up to 15 pills a day for various reasons....several psych meds. Its called the Stellate Ganglion Block. We went to Chicago on January 17th, 2012 and he did this procedure under fluroscopy. Isnt' that neat? Its just another way folks. Please educate yourself and others about this treatment. Even though its only been 11 days,we have seen a marked improvement in ptsd behaviors. I am incredibly interested in finding new ways to treat old problems....
