Stehoscope and scrubs?

Published

I have just graduated high school last month. I've already started college for pre nursing courses. I'm starting a job in two weeks as a CNA for a ltc facility. Can anyone recommend a good stethoscope and scrubs to purchase? I have some Cherokee scrubs, but they fit a little weird. May just be that I need a smaller size.

my husband likes the barco grey's anatomy ones and i like the free shipping :)

Thanks! I'll defiantly check those out. I'm a bigger guy (6'3 240) so I'm running into some trouble finding ones that fit comfortably

Grey's Anatomy fit really nice. A bit pricey. Always try scrubs on, ask if they shrink, look at the make-up of the fabrics. And walk around the store doing various positions. I don't know how many scrubs I have wasted thinking they looked good on, but felt like crap after 20 minutes. Sometimes a good washing or two makes them fit better as well. If you are a student, ask for a discount.

Invest in a good stethoscope now, unless you tend to lose things. I say a Littmann, bar none. I have a cardiology scope but I have a little hearing loss.

first of all congratulations on landing the position. having said that, buy only the best once and you'll never regret it... therefore, get yourself a littman stethoscope try them all and see which one is to your liking and keep your eye on it while at work and don't forget to place your name on it. in addition, to your scrubs i use wear medgear scrubs and grey anatomy ones they were pretty comfortable and i'm 6' bodybuilder. wishing you the very best always ....aloha~
