Is any one taking SATS this semester at OU? I am in the class right now that started 3/24 and I am still trying to get the hang of it. Anyone else in this boat.
I guess no one else is taking this class or maybe no one want to share. Wow.

Most folks end up taking stats at a community college, it's more cost effective. Either that or folks like me took stats years ago for another Bachelor's degree.

I took it a year ago. That class is really involved. If you want some responses, you may need a give a few more details about your specific difficulties. Just a thought
ShantheRN,
my problem is with the entire class. I think I get it then my scores reflect differently. I don't know what else to do. Thanks

When I took the class, I had an awesome professor and TA. I worked and worked on the problems. When I got stuck, I emailed the prof the problem, showed her what I was doing and she would point out to me where I was making my mistakes.
Don't be afraid to ask for help.
I spent more time on this class than most of my nursing ones. Lots of repetition is what helped me through it. I spent way too many afternoons toiling over the modules, reworking the formulas until I could arrive at the correct answer. I also found more sample problems online so I could build confidence. In general, it seems like the TAs in this course are awesome about answering questions and providing examples. Our instructor was great too! If he saw a lot of us struggling through the same problem on our section's message board, he would provide additional resources. I routinely sent weekly questions to my TA and she always answered in a timely fashion. I agree with Mary - ask for help!
Thanks for the replies. The class is very involved, I have been watching and doing the supplemental problems and asking questions at the Bb. Lots of others in the class are having the same problem I am having. We just have to continue plugging away at it.
