what state in the U.S. will not require NLE if I decide to study in the Philippines?

Published

I finally made up my mind that I will be going back to the Philippines next year after we made our big move in Okinawa, Japan. Concurrently my husband holds a federal position job that allows us to stay outside U.S. And since it's pretty close now to my home country, Philippines, I am considering the temporary move as well. My husband supports me on this and we think it's the best route towards getting a degree in Nursing.

By the way, I am a US citizen already, so it wouldn't be an issue as far as living outside U.S. Now, I would like to know which state in the U.S. will not require an NLE in order to sit for NCLEX? We are looking at 6 more years here in Japan, so we thought it's a good opportunity for me to finish nursing degree. I do hold a bachelor's degree in Community Development in the Philippines and hopefully will get a shorter time as far as going to school if my general education subjects will be credited. And also, what school can you recommend in the Philippines? I thought I should go to a good school where there will be ample experience and information I could gather, which I can apply when I will become a nurse myself.Thank you all for your input!

Moved to the International forum as nothing to do with actually working in the Philippines. Things my vary when you graduate, probably better to look into this later. If you can't sit NLE then usually all you have to do is provide something from PRC confirming you can't sit the exam
