Just curious on what starting wages are out there for new grad ADN's in the Midwest?

Big city (Chicago) vs. Small town (Podunk, Iowa)

Teaching hospital vs. Critical access

Hospital vs. Home Care

LTAC vs. Nursing Home

A lot of the major hospital systems don't even consider ADNs, some of them do.

My apologies; let's specify. Mostly Nebraska and bordering states.

25-bed facilities-not part of a health system-rural, critical access.

160-bed facilities-part of CHI Health-This system is accepting ADNs

However, there is system in Omaha, NE 400-bed average- (UNMC) that only accepts BSN prepared nurses, they do have a couple exceptions to this rule if need be. I have applied to complete an accredited BSN program to start directly after the ADN.
