Starting Pay Rate for New Grad RN- Cleveland OH

What are you getting as a starting pay rate? I was offered $24.20/hourly. Just wanted to know if this is high, low, average? Thanks for your help.

I think that is pretty average for Cleveland. I will be graduating in less than 2 years but go to some of the hospital career opportunity websites to motivate me by seeing what the pay is. The small local hospitals usually give a range of 22.00 to 25.00 an hour. Not sure about the Clinic or bigger hospitals in town. I would say that is not too bad and the main thing is to get a year or so of experience under your belt. That is my plan. It seems like then you are much more desirable. Thanks for the info :up:. Since this is my first job in the nursing field and salary, this sets the base for all continuing employment, raises etc... I don't want to undersell myself and want to ensure that this is a good start, since I don't know the industry. Anyone else out there with offers?
