Hello! I am wanting to start a more up to date thread about starting pays in the triad area. I know pay isn't everything but I want to make sure that I wouldn't be making to much less working for Wake because it will be a longer drive then I would working closer to home for novant. If anyone has any updated base pays and weekend and night shift differentials that would be really appreciated!

Wake is in the Triangle, The Triad is more Piedmont and further away. (Triangle is Raleigh-Durham) Wake, UNC, Duke. Triad is further west, I believe
As far as I know, WakeMed has the highest starting salaries in the area. They are all pretty close though.
I think the night shift, weekend diff for WakeMed is $16. $9 days. weekday nights ~$5. Don't quote me, but last time I looked it was around that.

If you can share your years of experience this can narrow the base pay to what is more accurate. I hear new grad is around $23.00 Wakemed shift diff for weekend nights Fri/ Sat /Sun is 16.25 and 10.00 for days weekday nights is $4 from 7-12 then $5 from midnight. The shifts start at 6:45 for am and pm.
Hope this helps, you will love the area. I made the move 2 years ago.
Ill update y'all and anyone else looking.
New grad position was offered at novant 24 an hour, 1.25 weekend diff, 4 dollar night diff
Wake Forrest was 23.25 an hour, 1.25 weekend, and 4 dollar night diff
Not bad but the weekend differential SUCKS compared to other places close by such as Cone, Duke, ect.
Any questions regarding these hospitals feel free to ask!
