Hi everyone!!
So I passed my nclex Monday, it's Friday and I'm going in for orientation. I can't believe I was hired so quickly and trust me I'm beyond grateful, however, I'm so nervous yet excited to begin my nursing career. I have zero medical background other than clinical rotations, and I'm changing careers. I've read so much about new nurses hating their first jobs/year and I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to get through it...

Just relax, go with the flow. Keep your eyes and ears open. Keep a note pad and take notes. Write down those things that you need to look up later when you go home. Nursing is not really that hard. Be safe, learn what you can and ask questions.
