I want to start over in college, and take some of my classes that are required for nursing over again. I never failed anything, but a lot my grades were C's and B's, and that just will not cut it at my college. I would have to take Expository writing, AnP I and II, CIS-110 (basic computer course), General Psych, Developmental Psych, college study skills over again. I passed abnormal psych and English-112 with an A, so those are fine. I want to do this, but at the same time I don't because I receive financial aide, and they will not pay for a class twice that receives a grade of C or higher (yet they will re-pay for classes failed....), but I think I would be able to come up with the funds.
Also, I have a very high chance of getting accepted in to the LPN program at my college according to the health programs coordinator at my college, so I am applying for that this Fall. I guess I am just stuck between going to LPN school, and about two semesters of retaking courses, but at the same time my college does offer an LPN-RN bridge program, so I am kind of leaning toward getting my LPN first, and then going back and taking the bridge program.
What do you guys think? Anyone else been in a situation similar to mine?
