staRN program-Regional Medical Center March 2021

Hey guys, I applied to the staRN program in San Jose, CA for both Regional Medical Center and Good Samaritan that is supposed to start end of March 2021 . I'm just wondering how the hiring process is (especially with COVID-19), when we should expect to hear back, how competitive it is etc. Also, has anyone else applied and already heard back?

I already submitted the self-paced interview for RMC last week but have not heard back since.

I also applied to both! I did the self paced interview for Good Sam last week and have not heard anything either. My application still says open for RMC. What is your status for Good Sam? 
I know some people were not invited to interview and flat out rejected.

I recently got an email for the SJ regional medical center self paced interview. Im assuming its going to be similar, if not the same, as Good Sam. They asked for an intro about yourself, why do you want to work at the facility, what will be the biggest challenge transitioning from student to RN, and uhhh there was another but I honestly can't remember now!

Did anyone hear back from SJ Regional Medical Center? How long after the self paced interview do they take to make a decision? Any input or info would be helpful

I'm sorry to hear that! I have not heard anything back yet. Did you get an email?

Yes, I sent the video Tuesday and today Friday I got an email

I still have not heard anything. I submitted both interviews already and have checked my application status every day. Has anyone gotten an update on their application?

Hopefully they get back to you with good news! I only applied to SJ regional medical center (I missed the deadline for Good Samaritan) but after my self paced interview at SJRMC, it only took them 3 days to reply
