Hello, I wanted to start a thread for Regional Medical Center and Good Samaritan Hospital New Grad Program thats starts in March 2022. If you can share any communication from either of these two hospitals that would be great.
Thank You!
I went to the webex chat last Friday 1/28, and was told that if we were accepted, we would hear back today 2/4 through text and the email offer would come later. They also mentioned they’re hiring around 32 residents this cohort, but during the interview, I heard one of the educators say they’re only hiring 8? so I’m confused. Has anyone heard back regarding their status?

32 sounds about right, 8 is pretty low. Is 8 just for one hospital? or The entire Cohort (Which includes all the Hospitals in that area from HCA).

I am currently in StaRN and have been on my own for a few months now. The StaRN program is Great! The job is tough, but what job isn't. I'm grateful I was accepted and gained invaluable experience. I however did decide to go PRN and now looking into doing Case management. I'm an introvert and love computers and technology. I love the challenges the hospital has brought, but ever since Covid (they say), I feel my area is not specialized and is a general Med-Surg/Tele floor. I love the staff though, they are wonderful! And I learned so much. I would always stay working PRN.
