Hello all, creating a forum for all those applying for the Stanford Nurse Residency program for Spring 2025. Applications opened today and is due end of week! If we have any questions, we can use this to help each other and keep each other updated 🙂 Good luck to everybody!!

Hello!

Is our clinical instructors considered our preceptors as well? For our letter of recommendation.

I believe it has to be a clinical nurse that was on the floor. So if you had your capstone preceptorship the last semester of nursing school, you can use the RN that was your preceptor. I think they said clinical instructors could be used for the skills survey if you get to the second round of interviews.

Hihi! For the cover letter, does anyone know who to address it to? Or would we just generalize it to "hiring manager"

yes I received it, which units are you applying to now or are you withdrawing?

Yes I did. I ended up just going with what was left, which hopefully will just open a new door for learning.

Hi, do many of you have ASNs? Do you happen to know of anyone who got into these programs with ASN?

You must have a BSN at least to apply.

I didn't get that email but this is what mine says. Are all of your application statusss the same ?
