Stanbridge College

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello - Has anyone recently gotten into Stanbridge College's ADN (Associates of Nursing) program? How are you liking it. Was it difficult to get into. From what I hear there are quite a few applicants and only a hand full get in. If you have any information I'd be grateful.

Thanks :)

Well the last I heard was 65 that passed the ATI and got interviews. My understanding was they were selecting the 30 from that amount. But I am obviously way off. Lol who is your rep?

I was going to ask you the same question lol I was getting two different answers though. Josh is my rep and he said I would be going next year and the lady her name is Kerry said I could get into this upcoming one sept 20 so I'm waiting to hear back from Josh so I can get a clear answer

I am curious as well. At one time it seemed that they had already made their decision because they said the testings were completed. Now it seems there are more in September. I heard the next cohort testings will be in November for the February start date.

Definitely let me know when you hear. Josh is my rep too. He is a real nice guy he won't steer you wrong.

Tgrosch who told you that they were done for this cohort and was it the same person who told you they were sill taking apps. Haha I am so confused. Funny thing is there is another thread on here from Stanbridge from like April and it's a bunch of confused students as well. So we aren't alone. How did y'all do on the accuplacer? Do you remember your scores?

I'm sure everything will get figured out. I don't mind getting into the next one but josh wanted me to take the test asap. I hope I do t have to take it again! I remember I was in the 90s for both of the English portions. I got like a 49 on the arithmetic í ½í¸ And a 79 on the algebra part. How did you do?

Seriously almost identical to you. Lol. Tad lower on the algebra and I was in the low 100's in the reading and sentence skills. Are you an Lvn or anything now?

Oh and you shouldn't have to take it again I believe the scores are good for 6 months. So no worries there.

Oh phew! No, I'm an Esthetician right now. Do you have nursing experience? I honestly just started researching private nursing schools to get it done faster. I'm going to golden west college and I am enrolled for this up coming semester for more pre reqs just in case I don't get in this cohort. Planning on doing financial aid... Were you able to transfer any classes if you had any credits already?

We have a lot in common. I am a cosmetologist. Lol. I don't have any nursing experience other than I did two terms of Lvn school but had to withdraw because I got extremely sick and had to focus on my health. But all better now. I would like to get through school as quick as possible without jeopardizing my education. I am willing to get in some classes as well the problem is I can NEVER get in to any decent registration dates that have any classes I need available. So it's hard.

How funny! What do you have left to take? This school stuff takes so long! I have two daughters and want to get this done as soon as possible!

I have a daughter as well I have to take all the pre reqs besides math and English. They have all expired. :(
