Hi,
I was originally going to pursue my PMHNP with St. Thomas and I have since enrolled into Purdue Global due to St. Thomas lack of communication and many other issues. I have been enjoying my classes and am happy I switched at the last minute. I have also attended Purdue for my BSN and did graduate so, I am receiving a discount on this degree. I wish you the best !! maybe look into Purdue they are great!!
@Beaux Brasseur I strongly advise against enrolling in the PMHNP program at St. Thomas. My experience has been a complete nightmare from start to finish. I cannot recommend this program to anyone, not even my worst enemy. Although it may be less expensive and quicker to complete, the negative impact on mental and emotional well-being is not worth it. The program director's behavior is unprofessional and certainly does not belong in an academic environment where students' futures are at stake. We have all complained, but it goes on deaf ears.

Hey everyone,
I could really use some advice right now. I am currently in the third semester of the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PHMNP) program at St. Thomas University in Miami, and unfortunately, it has been an incredibly challenging and frustrating experience for myself and my classmates. I am wondering if anyone else has been through something similar and transferred to another university to complete their PHMNP program. I'd greatly appreciate any feedback or insights you have to offer, as I'm feeling extremely overwhelmed. The program administrators have been unhelpful, adding to my stress and frustration.
